So I didn’t know that our bathrooms are co-ed. Until last night when I was sitting comfortably on the can and a BOY pushed the stall door open. Fortunately, I was alert enough to catch the door before he saw anything (I think).

And now I will never ever be able to relax while sitting on the toilet ever again. Wonderful.

haaaa!

kim

are there no locks on the doors?

Rachel: No, there are locks, but this particular door had the misfortune of having an ill-fitting lock...

Ian

that’s ridiculous. sucks to be you!

Drea

Okay, that’s a bit naughty now, isnt it? Whoever came up with that idea must be a total perv.

Steph

hah! i laugh at your discomfort, because it has happened to me, too.

rowan

at least he didn’t do the whole “pee over the close door and try to get most of it in the bowl” thing that guys do every now and then.*

*sarcasm

Kayleigh

At least it didn’t happen in the shower…

Ian

there are worse things that coulda happened that are just too inappropriate to even discuss in text. be thankful that’s all it was.

tasia

wow, that sucks. just one more thing to make using public restrooms an even more pleasant experience. at least you caught the door in time. it could have been worse.

Elea

I haven’t been able to sit on a toilet comfortably ever since a few years ago, when I was at a friend’s house, using the bathroom (which had no lock), and the dad burst in.

I could never look him in the eye again. Uber embarrassing.

soyeon

reminds me of that episode from boy meets world where they go off to college and cory’s uncomfortable with the coed bathroom :)

hersch

the rss feed works again!

Rachel

You know what scares me about co-ed bathrooms? THE SOUND FACTOR. I shiver just thinking about it.

ivy

hahahaha.

Tim

That reminds me of when I went to Melbourne a few weeks ago and stayed at my friend’s dorm. He pointed to the toilets, and I went in and sat down and started pooping (I couldn’t think of a more masculine yet not too crude way of putting it). Then I heard two girls walk in and stand at the mirror talking about the make up they were putting on.

I was scared shitless (not literally, of course) and waited until I thought everyone was out of there before I tried to stealthily sneak away. I hoped no one saw me, lest I become known as “that guy who visited from Adelaide and took a dump in the girl’s bathroom”.

As you probably guessed long before this sentence, a few days later I found out it was a co-ed bathroom.
